LAYOUT SERVICES
Designing a layout for a translated text will give it the same look as the original text: the same placement, headlines, drawings, etc.
A layout service is often used when translating manuals, presentations or promotional materials. Our everyday tools include:
Adobe Acrobat, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe InDesign, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe PhotoShop, HTML / XHTML, Quicksilver (Interleaf), Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, QuarkXpress, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Visio, AutoCAD, XML, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft FrontPage, Adobe Flash, Adobe Freehand, ABBYY FineReader, Open Office, OSX Pages/Numbers
We usually send the finished product to the client in Original or PDF format, but we can also use other formats as required.
DESIGN
In addition to layout services, designing includes changes compared to the original material: we can change the placement or style of the text, remove or add pictures, schemes, logos, contact information, etc. When needed, we can design a whole new piece of promotional material. In that case, we would expect the client to provide the original content (texts, drawings, logos, etc.) and requirements of the printing house for the print file.
It must be said that when creating new designs, we cannot compete with companies that professionally commit to layout and design services.
PREPRESS
We also offer printing preparation services for texts translated and/or designed by us and according to the requirements of the printing house. In order to create the print file, we ask you to forward the specific requirements of the printing house or a reference to the printing house so we can find the information ourselves.
PRINTING
When required, we can also organise printing of the translated materials. That means we can take care of the whole translation and printing process and you will be provided with the necessary amount of printed copies as the final result.

When creating layout designs, our everyday tools include Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop (and ImageReady), Adobe Acrobat Professional (and Distiller), Corel Draw, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash and Microsoft Word. The layout service is often used when translating manuals, where we can finalise the text and pictures according to the original material. We usually send the finished product to the client in PDF format. However, if the client has specific requirements, no program to date has been beyond our expertise.
Design: When needed, we can also change the original material, by changing the placement removing or adding pictures, logos, contact information, etc. In special cases, we have designed a whole new piece of promotional material. In that case, we have always asked the client to provide the original content (pictures, logos, texts, etc.) and requirements of the printing house for the print file.
